Made from Italian cotton specially treated to ensure optimal protection against bacteria, COCHIC face masks stand out their long-lasting antibacterial properties, wash after wash.

 

They far exceed the BFE (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency), splash resistance and breathability requirements demanded of Health Canada for face masks.

 

The results of laboratory tests (standard EN 14683) have shown that the level of bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) for the COCHIC face masks is greater than 97% and that the level of breathability, as well as the resistance to water and blood splashes is far better than the single-use IIR disposable surgical mask (standard EN 14683) and the level 1, 2 and 3 surgical masks (standard ASTM F2100), according to Health Canada standards and requirements. “These results bear witness to the rigor of our approach. COCHIC face masks are a durable and secure solution offering optimal protection”, says Ms. Casubolo.

 

Both washable and adjustable, COCHIC face masks feature three layers of antibacterial impregnated cotton treated with BI-OME ® technology, which reduces bacteria by up to 99.9% after treatment. The fabrics used conform to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifications. The activated carbon filter that comes with each mask adds a fifth additional layer of protection and can quickly be changed as a result of an internal pocket.

 

The collection is available in a variety of colours and designs for both adults and children.
